  1. Open the Editor software.
  2. Click on "Calibration Tools" from the top menu.
  3. Select "Create Stock File".

  1. Choose "Create Stock File From Existing File".

  1. Click "Load File" and select the original read file.
  2. Click "Save/Open File" to save the new stock file with the original VIN and serial information.

The new stock file will have the tune reverted to the stock settings while preserving your vehicle's identification details.

Importing changes from the original file

If you want to import specific changes from the original file to the new stock file, you can use the "Compare/History" feature. This allows you to merge the desired changes from the original file into the new stock file.

Steps to create a stock file with a different VIN/Serial

  1. Click "Create Stock File from Strategy or Catchcode" and enter the strategy of the vehicle.
  2. Click "Create and Merge" selecting either another .TEC file or a .AB file (more information on as built files can be found here)

This will allow you to create a stock file using the Serial/Vin from another vehicle.
